Drag Drama into the Daylight
Weekly Text: Acts 15:1-11
Fester is a word worth pondering. It may even be worth festering over.
Most other things are not, however. Drama of any sort ought to be addressed head-on, no matter how much “dissension and debate” (v2, 7) it causes.
Drag it into the light, kicking and screaming, and hash it out. Give reasons. Confess sins. Require clarifications. Debate.
Do not let it fester, unresolved. It will only get worse.
