Why Christ is King | Postmillennialism & Psalm 110 (Part 1)

Over the past few years, postmillennialism (the view that Christ's kingdom has already begun and will, over time, saturate the world with the gospel until it drips) has transitioned through various stages of acceptance in my mind. Think the stages of grief, only the opposite:

  1. "Wait, people believe this?"
  2. "It'd be cool if it were true, but it's just not."
  3. "Okay, I can see how they get there, but nah, there's too many counter-proof-texts."
  4. "Hang on a sec..."
  5. "No way."
  6. "This is true - so unbelievably true - and now I can't look at anything the same way ever again."
  7. "I wonder what my great great great great grandchildren will be doing? Better start building something for them."

I absolutely love this topic. Even more than Calvinism. So whilst there are areas of my disagreements with Christadelphians that are objectively more central to the Christian faith, I am drawn to tackle this issue first.

This first video deals with the proofs - both Old and New Testament - that Christ's ascension was the inauguration of his reign as the Davidic Messiah.
